HIGHER EDUCATION (POST 16)
Some careers require a degree, if you have a higher education qualification you are likely to earn more over your working life than without.
There are many ways to gain a higher education qualification. For example, you could move away from home and do a full-time course at a university, work and study part time at home, study for a degree through a local college, or undertake a degree apprenticeship.
If you are unsure what career you want to work in, that’s ok! You could study a subject you enjoy, this can demonstrate to employers that you have the ability and commitment to study at a higher level. For some professions you do need a degree in a certain subject, such as dentistry or medicine.
