Invest to Achieve

The Academy has now launched the Year 11 Achieve programme; a series of activities and events designed to provide additional support and guidance so that students are fully supported in their preparation for up-coming trial and summer examinations.

The after school Achieve programme has already started for our Y11 students. We hold sessions in Science on Monday, Mathematics on Tuesday and English on Wednesday. The after school Achieve programme will be extended within the coming weeks with options subjects delivering sessions after school from 2:30-3:30 on Thursdays and Fridays.

The positive partnership between home and school is a critical factor in the success of any young person. and this is why we are holding our annual ‘Invest to Achieve’ event.

The aim of this event is to provide information to parents on:

What is Achieve?
What they can do to support their children to revise.
What mental health and wellbeing support is available from the Academy and what they can do to support their child.
How to revise within Mathematics.
How to revise within Science.
How to revise within English.

We ask that you sit with your child to watch the following videos that have been prepared and use the opportunity to discuss revision strategies and how they can ensure achievement in the summer.
